Background and Philosophy:
Julie has many years experience within the sport of Trampoline Gymnastics, both as a gymnasts for many years and as a coach. Julie began trampolining at the age of just four at a local leisure centre and soon joined a local competitive trampoline club. Julie spent many years enjoying her trampoline training, gaining and leaning skills, and competing up to a national standard
Julie first qualified as a Trampoline Gymnastics Coach in 1997 and has upskilled to Senior Club Coach in both Trampoline Gymnastics and Double Mini Trampoline (DMT). Julie is currently studying and working towards Performance Coach, which is a high level coaching award in Trampoline. Julie was selected to attend the course due to her amazing work, namely two gymnasts selected onto England National Squads, one on the Junior England Trampoline Pathway and one in Youth Development England Double Mini Trampoline (DMT)
Julie opened her new venture in 2018 and is thrilled that 100’s of local community children have learnt to trampoline both for fun and recreation, with many gymnasts following their own performance pathway and reaching their own goals and achievements within the sport of Trampoline Gymnastics
Julie is extremely keen to offer young gymnasts opportunities into coaching careers themselves and is proud to have helped many young gymnasts venture into coaching. With many becoming Trampoline Helpers from age 13, Qualified Assistant Coach from aged 16, and some going onto Level 2 coaching at age 17 and onto Level 3 modules and theory from ages 18+
