FAQs

Is my child good enough to train or do competitions?

We don’t expect new members to have any experience in trampolining to join one of our classes. We encourage members to enter competitions regardless of how well we expect them to do and they will be in a level that matches their ability, however their early competitions should be about gaining experience and ignoring results.

What should my child wear to the session?
Wearing a leotard with shorts or leggings is great, however t-shirt and shorts/leggings is fine to begin with. Sports type clothing that can be easily moved in. No jeans. Nothing with zips, buckles, buttons etc so that nothing can get caught in the trampoline bed. Must wear socks, and/or trampoline shoes. No earrings or any body jewellery allowed to be worn, this must be taken out before arriving. Newly pierced ears can be taped if not yet able to take out.

Where can I purchase leotards?
Leotards are available from many different retailers such as: Milano, Quatro, Little Stars Leotards and The Zone. Julie has a small selection of Milano leotards which are available for selected sizes, contact her for more information.

How old does my child have to be to take part in sessions?
PTDA has a wide range of ages at the club, however members must be aged 4+.
